委内瑞拉统一社会主义党在2010年国民大会选举中失去议会2/3控制权后,查韦斯领导的左翼政权逐步调整政策与策略,确立党和国家的政治目标,在党内开展新一轮"3R"运动,调整对待中产阶级的立场和本国的经济与农业政策。然而,左翼政权仍面临国内外各种反对势力的威胁与挑战,左翼联盟和党内思想也有待协调。委内瑞拉左翼政权的未来充满不确定性,能否摆脱拉美左翼的宿命并长期执政还有待历史的见证。
